School History

I grew up here in the small town of Roanoke, Alabama, where I went to Woodland High School in Woodland, AL. After high school, I moved to Tiger Country where I finished my undergraduate degree at Auburn University. While I was in college, I knew God was calling me to help people through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Upon graduation, I moved to Nashville, TN where I attended a ministry school and began learning how to help people cope through life’s challenges. After graduating from the ministry school I was accepted into Faulkner Law where I received my J.D. and LL.M. I was fortunate enough to graduate in the top five of my law school class and had a scholarly peer reviewed paper published in an academic journal concerning qui tam cases filed under the False Claims Act.

Additionally, Chris Baldwin has earned an LL.M. in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. An LL.M. is an internationally recognized postgraduate Masters of Law degree that one can obtain after receiving their doctorate. A J.D. prepares someone to practice law, while an LL.M. provides advanced training. Chris has this degree in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution, which covers everything from negotiation to mediation to litigation.

Legal Career

I began my legal career at a major law firm in Montgomery, Alabama where I focused on class actions, antitrust, and qui tam cases. Later, desiring to work closer with clients, I moved to a smaller firm. During this time I worked out of Birmingham and Montgomery focusing my attention on personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Finally, I decided to move back to my home town so I could be closer to my family. It was then, in 2021, I moved back to Roanoke, Alabama and opened Chris Baldwin Law where I focus on medical malpractice, personal injury, estate planning, and real estate.

Ministry

Throughout my career I have kept the burning desire to help those who need it most, whether it be a legal or spiritual matter.
