Carey was raised in the small town of Lyons, Georgia, where she graduated from Toombs County High School in 2009. After high school, she moved to Douglas, Georgia, where she attended cosmetology school at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. In 2012, she moved to Woodland, Alabama to be closer to her family, where she worked at her family’s business for 10 years.
After her children were born, she decided to further her education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University where she graduated with a 3.9 GPA.
After joining Chris Baldwin Law in 2022, Carey continues to take classes taught by the Institute for Paralegal Education while working closely with Chris on his cases.
Carey and her husband, Stephen, have two children, Zaylor and Braizen. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, crafting, and spending time with family.
